Hi friend,

We have two members of our SDG family who have reached out for support, and weโ€™re gathering items for them this week.

If you feel called to help, here are two simple ways to make an immediate difference:

NOTE: These items will be picked up by those who need them next Monday, December 1st, which is why many of the suggestions below lean toward frozen or shelf-stable, rather than fresh.


1๏ธโƒฃ Cash Donations for Grocery Gift Cards

2๏ธโƒฃ Donate Food Items

If you prefer to drop off food, here are items that will help them build complete meals with protein at breakfast, lunch, and dinner:

๐Ÿ“ DROP-OFF DETAILS:โ€‹
All food donations can be dropped off at the Gilbert office on:

  • Wednesday, Nov 26: 11am โ€“ 6pm
  • Friday Nov 28: 8am โ€“ 3pm
    โ€‹(Drop-offs outside these windows cannot be accepted.)

Protein Options:

  • Eggs
  • Frozen Chicken breasts or thighs
  • Frozen Ground turkey or ground beef
  • Canned tuna or chicken
  • Tofu or tempeh
  • Frozen Turkey sausage or chicken sausage
  • Nut butters

Breakfast-Friendly Items:

  • Oatmeal packets (low sugar)
  • Greek yogurt
  • Cottage cheese
  • Frozen whole-grain bread or English muffins

Lunch & Dinner Staples:

  • Rice or quinoa
  • Pasta and pasta sauce
  • Tortillas or wraps
  • Canned beans
  • Frozen vegetables
  • Fresh vegetables (carrots, broccoli, greens, cucumbers, peppers)
  • Ready-made soups or chilis
  • Cooking oils or spices

Every contribution โ€” big or small โ€” helps support these families with real nourishment and care.
